This Holiday Gift Guide is sponsored by the Honest Company.
And please note that I use all of the products listed below, and please note that they are things that I find cute, lovable, useful, crush-worthy, delicious, and very giftable. And please note that I ♥︎ your awesome self.
Today we’re talking about gift ideas for the person who loves fashion! I am lucky to have a few fashion + style lovers in my family and close inner circle (I’m looking at you Stephie) and their cuteness is always a good influence on me and my love of yoga pants/slippers.
You’ll see mostly girl stuff here today and that’s just how it’s gonna be this year. GO GIRL. Maybe next year I can do a extra special collab with Bjork to make a guy’s gift guide, but consider this year’s list your inspo list for your girlfriends, daughters, moms, and sisters.
Pretty Gifts For Fashion Lovers
The other day I saw my BFF sporting cute little halfway leg warmers with her skinny jeans and riding boots and long sweater. First, I melted a little bit inside because it was just plain cozy and wonderful looking, and secondly, I knew that this accessory was going on my wishlist. I love boots (hi Minnesota) and having a little extra fun thing to wear with them just makes me giddy.
We need to talk about how amazing it is to receive something called The Pampering Collection. It is, in fact, very amazing. I’m talking about all-natural, chemical free, fresh-feeling bubble bath, face and body lotion, lip balm, conditioning mist, and body oil. I have especially loved the lotion – it’s light and lovely. And the lip balm is the only lip balm I will use from now until forevermore – it’s so so so silky-soft.
PS. That luscious body oil. I promise it is just as wonderful for your winter skin as it sounds.
This is a gorgeous gift for people who love to be pampered, but also perfect for people who normally shy away from froofy things. This has no crazy scents, no neon colors, no glitter. Just all natural ingredients in body-loving form to make you feel delicious. It’s a winner for just about everybody. And even though I already have it, I want another one. It’s my favorite, Bjork. I’m just saying.
This Etsy shop has LOADS of amazing cases. Super stylish, for lots of different tastes, and very affordable. I could and maybe have already spend hours looking through all these great designs. This pink watercolor is the one that I finally settled on. Yey pink!
My dad got this bracelet for me a few years ago as a Christmas gift, and it is to this day one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. One -> because it reminds me of my dad, and two -> every time I wear it, it reminds me that the world is bigger than my bubble. All the proceeds from this pretty bracelet enable World Vision to continue to give to children and families in need all over the world. The bracelets themselves are made in Thailand as a part of a protection program for vulnerable girls. So many good things all in one little bracelet. ♥︎
Not everyone feels comfortable gifting clothes and shoes, but I just had to include these boots on the list because literally every time I wear them, I get at least 900 compliments. Which is just funny because they are not high-fashion expensive boots. They are from my one and only: TARGET. Less than $50. Casual and cute. Match with anything. If you’re the kind of person who buys clothes and shoes for Christmas, these are a cute and easy win.
One of my all-time favorite Etsy finds was a set of frames for a gallery wall project where we have different portraits of kids from the Children’s Shelter of Cebu. I wanted to share a picture of it with you here but, you know, we just moved and everything so the location of that set of frames is underneath some boxes in the basement. When we get it all finished, I’ll show you a real picture. Pinky promise. If you are gifting to someone who loves to decorate, these adorable frames or mirrors are basically a guarantee. They are so cute with their different wood styles and painted, distressed finish. Mine are a white/cream color.
I love a good piece of Forever 21 jewelry. I’ll just come right out and say it: it’s not the kind of high quality piece that is going to last you for years. But that’s okay, because getting a new little accent for less than $4.00 is pretty awesome. It’s super affordable and really trendy and it makes a great gift for your stylish girlfriend. I have a habit of buying one for a friend and one for myself whenever I walk into that store. Score.
The Honest Life is such a great book for anyone looking to live a more clean, simple, honest life. I really loved the sections on style and beauty, where Jessica Alba (my BFF girl crush) shares tips for embracing style and beauty in a natural, honest way. The book covers lots of super useful and inspiring stuff, like Honest Food, Honest Beauty, Honest Style, Honest Home, Honest Baby, and Honest Inspiration.
That’s a whole lotta good reading material for people who want to combine fashion with clean living. Thumbs up.
Bjork and I love these Minnesota-friendly jackets. The thing about the zippered fleece or jacket or what have you is that you can wear them for multiple occasions… and they just work. I wear my pink one to work out, but it’s so cute that it also works with a pair of jeans for casual hanging out. It’s an awesome cross between a fitted long sleeve shirt and a cozy sweatshirt. AND THE THUMB HOLES.
Bjork wears his blue one when we go cut down our Christmas tree in the snow, and then over a button up collared shirt when we go out for dinner. And then every. single. day. in between. My whole family makes fun of him for how much he wears “his fleece”, but it just seems to work almost all of the time. Which is why it’s an awesome gift.
PS. Mine was from the Nike outlet store and cost only about $40. Find an outlet!
How perfect is mini perfume for gifting? I love getting and giving perfume as a gift, but sometimes it’s scary to give a full bottle of expensive perfume to someone not knowing if they like it. Enter mini perfume gift set. It’s called Viva La Juicy and it’s sweet and yummy: that’s how good my perfume describing skills are. Whenever I wear it (well, wore it – it’s gone now) people ask about it. *beaming* This is adorable and would make a great gift for the perfume-wearer in your life.
Pretty Stocking Stuffers For Fashion Lovers
I will always remember how amazed I was when I first used this eyeshadow – we were on our honeymoon in Mexico and at the end of this long, beachy, sunny day, MY EYESHADOW WAS STILL IN PLACE. I vividly remember that it was still matte-looking. Unbelievable! The point of that story is: it’s time to go to Mexico. Just kidding, sort of.
These are pretty and practical. Buy these for a stocking stuffer because they’re reeeally cute and people will like them. The End.
Yet another adorable Etsy shop called Charlie Chalk Designs – this time with some really unique chalkboard party accessories for the party-goer (or party host) on your list! I just used these for a baby shower that I threw for my sister, and we’ll be using them again soon for our annual friends Christmas party. Everyone loved them at the shower, and they were such a fun way to label the yums that we had on the table. We’ll also be using them for our second wedding in another life, because where was this when we first got married? Hm?
I wouldn’t mind finding a few more of these in my stocking.
Enough For Us, More For Others
Like last time, I’ll just give a quick shout out for one of my favorite organizations and for a mission that is really important to me. I know it’s a big deal to you, too, because you tell me via comments and emails. And that’s why we jive together. ♥ In this series we are enjoying gifts together and I really believe we can enjoy giving generously together as well.
The reality is that people need clothes. Your gift can be multiplied 10x over.
More for others.
Happy shopping and happy giving!
I’m hoping to brave zero degrees to go out and buy some gifts today. NOT! Yet another reason I love the internet.
